Dr. Jeff Warren celebrates 40- years in chiropractic
In this blog series, we recognize the CAA 2022 long service award recipients. Learn more about them and the words of wisdom they have to offer.
Dr. Jeff Warren always wanted to be a chiropractor. He etched his intention in his high school yearbook and some 40-years later, Dr. Warren says, “I continue to love what I do.” In addition to his practice, he spent 15 years giving back to his profession as a Council member at the College of Chiropractors, president of the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors for three years and former President of the Canadian Chiropractic Association. He says it was a great opportunity to be part of the leadership and to provide input on the future direction of the profession.
Dr. Warren participates in various endurance sports – everything from ironman, ultra-marathons, and ultra mountain bike races. He says the wildest thing he has ever done is a five-day bike race at 12,000 feet in Peru, finishing at Machu Picchu. His travels have taken him worldwide; golfing in Turkey was one of his favorites.
A graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Dr. Warren practices with his son Jared at Body and Soul Chiropractic in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Do you have an inspirational quote you live by?
Live with intention. I have that inscribed on my arm.
If you could do a 30-minute presentation on anything, what would the topic be?
If chiropractic, how to build a successful practice. If non-chiropractic, how to succeed in endurance sports.
What is your hope for chiropractors of the future?
Embrace the past and the future at the same time. Don't give up on the roots of chiropractic to fit into society.
What famous person, dead or alive, would you like to have dinner with and why?
My father. He was a big inspiration in my life.
Congratulations of 40 years of service, Dr. Warren!
