Student care

Chiropractors are effective in treating headaches, as well as neck and back pain. Even betterchiropractic treatments are covered by most student health-care plans here in Alberta.

What can I visit a chiropractor for?

Let’s face itstudent life is demanding. Spending long hours sitting in class, hunched over a computer or bent over homework isn’t good for anyone’s back and joints. As musculoskeletal system experts, chiropractors know how damaging poor posture is—and they’re here to help.

Chiropractors are trained to treat several common conditions. If you’ve experienced any of the following, consult with a chiropractor:

  • Headaches
  • Neck and back pain
  • Whiplash and other auto accident injuries
  • Chronic and acute pain syndromes like sciatica
  • Repetitive strain injuries to a joint, like tennis elbow
